"The Priority of the Committed"

Luke 9:57 - 62

When Jesus said, "Follow Me," many people said, "Okay, I'll follow you." To be clear about what it means to be His disciple, Jesus defined the kind of life that is "fit" for the Kingdom. He wanted His disciples, and us, to understand that being a disciple requires more than most followers want to commit to in their relationship with Him. Luke recorded this lesson for us in our focal passage for today.
